In-demand hitman set to snub West Ham transfer to sign for London rivals Spurs

According to reports from London Evening Standard, Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi would favour a move to Tottenham Hotspur over West Ham if both clubs bid for him during the summer transfer window.

That prominent haul has generated plenty of interest from the Premier League ahead of the summer transfer window, with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham linked with his services in recent months.

Some reports have even deemed him the Hammers’ priority transfer target. But according to London Evening Standard, the £25million-rated Belgium international will snub the east Londoners if Spurs also launch a bid during the coming transfer window.

That’s in no small part due to the Lilywhites’ all-but-mathematically-sealed involvement in next season’s Champions League tournament, needing just two more points to confirm a spot in Europe’s top competition.
