Vincent Janssen

According to reports from De Telegraaf, Everton, Manchester United and PSG are scouting AZ striker Vincent Janssen ahead of the summer transfer window.

The name will ring a bell with England fans; the Netherlands starlet converted a penalty against the Three Lions last week to chalk up his first goal at senior international level – but that was just one memorable moment amid a mesmerising campaign for the 21-year-old.

Indeed, the 5 foot 11 forward has bagged 20 goals and three assists in 29 league outings for AZ since sealing a transfer from second-tier side Almere City last summer, rising to pole position in the Eredivisie scoring charts and becoming a fixture in Danny Blind’s plans for the Dutch national team.

And that impressive rise has not gone unnoticed by some of the Premier League and Europe’s biggest clubs. According to De Telegraaf, scouts from Everton, Manchester United and Champions League giants PSG ran the rule over Janssen during a 4-2 defeat to PSV last Saturday.

The trio’s interest in Janssen is largely unsurprising considering the potent haul he’s amassed this season, but De Telegraaf fail to mention a potential transfer fee.
