According to reports from Mirror Football, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have joined Arsenal and Everton in the race to sign Dynamo Kyiv winger Andriy Yarmolenko during the summer transfer window.

The beastly winger-forward boasts 110 goals in 284 appearances for Dynamo Kyiv, including 15 strikes across all competitions this season, and has bagged two Ukranian Premier League titles and three Ukranian Footballer of the Year awards since making his senior debut in 2008.

Earlier this week, Ukraine manager Mykhaylo Fomenko urged the 57-cap international to make a summer transfer to the English top flight, telling reporters; “If he is wanted by the top English clubs then, yes, he can show his best in the Premier League and he must do this. He is the leader of our team and leader of our squad.

That prompted the 26-year-old to reveal he’s indeed planning to seal a move to the Premier League during the coming transfer window amid heavy interest from the division’s top clubs. He said; “I cannot reveal many details, but yes, I intend to move to England this year.

Arsenal and Everton were initially linked with the £25million-rated attacker, having both attempted to acquire his services during the January transfer window, but Mirror Football claim a number of Premier League rivals have now entered the transfer battle for Yarmolenko’s signature – namely Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.

All five clubs are expected to spend bid during the summer transfer window, when the Premier League’s new £8billion TV deal will come into effect, and Mirror Football resultantly speculate we could see a costly bidding war erupt over the 6 foot 2 goalscorer.
