According to The Express, FC Koln manager Peter Stoger has revealed he’s open to selling Liverpool target Jonas Hector; whilst Brentwood Gazette claim West Ham are preparing a £20million transfer bid for Manchester City’s Yaya Toure.

The 25-year-old defender, who has emerged as Germany’s first choice left-back ahead of Euro 2016, has been mooted as a potential replacement for Alberto Moreno at Anfield after Matthias Hamann – brother of former Liverpool star Dietmar, who has worked as a scout for a number of Premier League clubs – was spotted in the stands during a recent 3-1 defeat to FC Schalke.

And manager Peter Stoger has surprisingly admitted that he would be open to selling Hector during the summer transfer window,  should Koln received a bid worth €10million or higher. As quoted by The Express, he told German publication Kicker; “I don’t have to talk about what may happen in the summer. But if somebody should offer us a three-figure million sum, we’d probably give in. If a two-figure million sum is offered, we’d consider it.

“And if Jonas Hector says that he doesn’t want to stay here, we’d have to face up to it. When a player like Jonas, who permanently refines himself, is in the spotlight it is just a super story. There are worse problems for a club than having to deal with a player who may be leaving the club because he’s in incredible form.”

Meanwhile, Brentwood Gazette claim West Ham are considering an audacious £20million transfer bid for Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure – who looks set to leave the Etihad during the coming transfer window upon the arrival of former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola.

The Hammers are reportedly determined to sign a stellar name ahead of their historic move to the Olympic Stadium and the Citizens star, famed for his mix of physicality, technical quality and firepower, appears to be in their transfer crosshairs.

West Ham are said to be preparing a £20million transfer bid, but the Ivory Coast international is attracting interest from all over Europe ahead of the summer window.
