According to reports from Brentwood Gazette, West Ham could launch a shock swoop for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere during the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old is widely regarded as one of the top English talents of his generation but has struggled to prove it over the last few years amid a succession of recurring injury problems.

Indeed, the England international has registered just 100 Premier League appearances since his debut in 2008, scoring six times, and hasn’t featured for Arsenal in any competition so far this season after breaking his Fibula in August.

And according to Brentwood Gazette, boyhood club West Ham are prepared to offer the £20million-rated ace a change of scene during the summer transfer window, with manager Slaven Bilic hoping to bolster his midfield options.
