Arturo Vidal

According to TransferMarketWeb, Liverpool are targeting Hoffenheim forward Kevin Volland; whilst Mirror Football report that Bayern Munich are open to selling Chelsea target Arturo Vidal during the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old is regarded as one of German football’s most exciting youngsters and boasts a phenomenal record for Die Mannschaft at youth level, with 25 goals between the U17 and U21 age groups, alongside five caps for Joachim Lowe’s senior side.

TMW claim Jurgen Klopp targeted Volland whilst in charge of Borussia Dortmund and is now ready to try again as Liverpool manager with a swoop during the summer transfer window. The €15million-rated winger-forward has claimed six goals and four assists in 25 Bundesliga appearances this season.

Meanwhile, Mirror Football claim Bayern Munich are considering cashing in on industrious midfielder Arturo Vidal, who has been heavily mooted as a priority transfer target for Chelsea since Antonio Conte became the undisputed front-runner for the Stamford Bridge job.

The Chile international sealed a transfer to the Allianz Arena only last summer, after winning three consecutive Serie A titles under Conte at Juventus, but his form hasn’t reached the levels expected and Pep Guardiola’s departure to Manchester City could well instigate a shakeup throughout the Bayern squad.

Mirror Football claim the German giants would sell the 29-year-old coming the summer transfer window if the price is right. They acquired his services in July 2015 for £28million.
