According to reports from Sport, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has already agreed a summer transfer to Manchester City.
The 25-year-old is widely regarded as one of the top central midfielders in world football, winning the Bundesliga title in 2012 and reaching the Champions League final a year later.
He’s produced strong form yet again this season, averaging an impressive 1.5 tackles, 2.3 interceptions, 1 created chance and 2.3 successful dribbles per match from 23 league outings, but has been tipped to leave Westfalenstadion in the summer transfer window with his contract set to expire in 18 months time.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United were all linked with the German international earlier this week as news broke of a potential summer departure, whilst Sport document interest from La Liga giants Barcelona – who reportedly came close to signing him at the start of the season.
But according to the Spanish publication, Gundogan has informed the Nou Camp outfit that he’s already agreed a transfer to Manchester City, where he will work under incoming manager Pep Guardiola.
Dortmund have since rejected the claims, but they were never going to announce the sale of a key player during a pre-match press conference.
