According to reports from The Sun, Arsenal and Manchester United are considering cut-price summer bids for crocked Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
The 26-year-old boasts a potent scoring record for the Reds, netting 44 times in 72 appearances across all competitions, but 18 months of injury hell has seen him make just 17 Premier League outings since the start of last season – only three of which have come under Jurgen Klopp.

The Sun report Sturridge is ready to leave Anfield (a claim shared by Mirror Football) amid criticisms of his proneness to injury and questions over his commitment to getting back on the pitch. Klopp told reporters last month that the England striker must “tell the difference between pain and real pain,” for example.
And the British tabloid speculate that a willingness to depart from Anfield could see Arsenal and Manchester United bid for the centre-forward, who has previously plied his trade with divisional rivals Chelsea and Manchester City, but they wouldn’t be prepared to pay full price.
Due to Sturridge’s injury problems and desire to find a new club, the Gunners and the Red Devils will reportedly look to prize him away from Merseyside for just £15million. The Sun claim he’d normally be worth more than triple that sum at £50million.
