According to The Express, Manchester United have joined Leicester City in the race to sign CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa; whilst Mirror Football report that Liverpool are considering a £11million bid for Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
The 56-cap Nigerian international has bagged 46 goals in 153 appearances for the Russian outfit, including ten strikes across all competitions earlier this season, and Leicester City saw a £15million bid for his services rejected earlier in the transfer window.
The Premier League leaders are expected to make an improved offer before Monday’s deadline but according to The Express, they now face late competition from Manchester United – who have scored the fewest goals of any side in the PL’s top eight this season. CKSA Moscow reportedly value the forward, capable of playing wide or centrally, at around £19million.

Meanwhile, Mirror Football report that Liverpool are considering a £11million bid for Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
The 21-year-old has spent the last 18 months on loan at Empoli and largely impressed, helping them stave off relegation last season whilst bagging two goals and four assists from the engine room during the current campaign.
Liverpool would like to strike up a deal before the close of the January transfer window, but a summer move seems far more likely. There isn’t much time left to dissolve his Empoli loan and complete a move to Anfield, whilst the 10-cap international is worried about jeopardising his place in Poland’s Euro 2016 squad.
The Reds are reportedly prepared to wait until the offseason to land Zielinski, but impressive performances at next summer’s tournament in France could affect his price-tag.
