According to reports from The Express, the agent of rumoured Arsenal and Liverpool target Ezequiel Lavezzi has claimed he’s in talks with Chelsea over a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Argentina international, who started for his country in last summer’s World Cup final against Germany, has bagged 34 goals in 156 appearances for the Parisians, helping fire them to three consecutive Ligue 1 titles.
But the winger-forward has steadily slid down the pecking order over the last 18 months, receiving just three league starts from Laurent Blanc this season, and admitted in September that he’ll most likely leave Parc de Princes when his contract expires in the summer.
Arsenal and Liverpool are both known admirers of the 30-year-old and were linked with him as recently as the last day of December – just 24 fours before the January transfer window officially opened.

But according to the player’s agent, Lavezzi is currently in talks with another Premier League club – reigning champions Chelsea.
As quoted by The Express, he told Mediaset; “Inter are the most interested team at the moment. There was interest from Barcelona and Chelsea, and we’re talking with the Blues. I can’t rule out him only leaving Paris at the end of the season though, as Paris Saint-Germain have expressed an interest in keeping him.”
It is assumed representative Alessandro Moggi was discussing a summer move. But Chelsea are known to be on the lookout for extra firepower this month and the 48-cap international would certainly be a welcome addition to Guus Hiddink’s current strike options.
