According to reports from The Daily Mail, Manchester United look set to beat Chelsea to the signing of Feyenoord youngster Tahith Chong. 

The Eredivisie prodigy was first linked with the Red Devils in September 2014 after impressing during the Premier Cup tournament held at United’s Carrington training complex.

The 16-year-old was then invited for a trial at Old Trafford but also caught the attention of Premier League rivals Chelsea, who have been linked with him heavily over the last few months.

According to The Daily Mail, the teenager is now favouring a United switch over a move to west London.

The Netherlands U16 international can play as a striker, a winger or a midfielder and is famed for his blend of skills, pace and netting prowess.

In better news for the Blues, however, they’re expected to seal a deal for fellow Manchester United target and fellow Netherlands prospect Juan Familia Castillo.
