According to The Daily Star, Manchester United are preparing a £215million spending spree on attacking signings; whilst Mirror Football report that Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao is a target for MLS outfit Columbus Crew.

The Red Devils have scored the fewest goals of any side in the Premier League’s top six this season, with strikeforce Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial netting just eight league goals combined.

The Daily Star claim the Old Trafford outfit intend to rectify the situation with a £215million spending spree focusing on attacking additions, stretched across two transfer windows.

Southampton’s Sadio Mane, Lazio’s Felipe Anderson and Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are all attainable this month, whilst a £100million bid for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has been mooted for the summer.

Meanwhile, Mirror Football report that MLS outfit Columbus Crew have opened talks to sign Chelsea loan flop Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian international, who managed a miserly four goals whilst on loan with Manchester United last season, has seen just 214 minutes’ worth of Premier League action since joining the Stamford Bridge ranks from parent club Monaco during the summer – netting only once in the process.

The 29-year-old is currently sidelined with a thigh injury but will be fit again when the MLS season starts up in March – giving Chelsea the chance to offload the former Atletico Madrid star from their wage bill.
