According to reports from The Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to monitor Arsenal target and Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi ahead of a potential January bid.
The Belgium international attracted Premier League interest during the summer after a strong debut campaign at Stade Velodrome and has continued to impress this year with eleven goals and five assists in 18 Ligue 1 appearances. That leaves him joint-second in the division’s goal charts and fourth in the assist rankings.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle have all been linked with the 22-year-old over the last few months, alongside La Liga outfits Atletico Madrid and Valencia, but many view the north London rivals as the front-runners having tracked Batshuayi for some time.
Last weekend’s reports suggested Spurs hope an early swoop for the 5 foot 11 forward in January will see them beat the Gunners to his signature and The Daily Mail now claim that the Lilywhites have taken yet another look at Batshuayi ahead of the coming window, with scouts running the rule over him during a 1-1 draw with Ajaccio on Sunday.
Marseille president Vincente Labrune warned in November that potential suitors will have to pay around £35millon to sign the former Standard Liege frontman in January, but The Mail believe the French club would sell for around £5million less.
