According to reports from FourFourTwo, Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez has confirmed he’s a transfer target for Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The 22-year-old moved to St. James’ Park in summer 2014 after bagging 17 goals in 50 league appearances for Tenerife – allegedly snubbing interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona in the process.

He’s gone on to net eleven times in 51 Premier League appearances for the Magpies, including a late winner against Spurs two weekends ago, whilst emerging as one of the division’s most in-demand youngsters.

Indeed, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with the Spaniard this season, with the latter duo believed to be particularly keen.

And speaking to Radio Club Tenerife, the Spaniard has confirmed that there is genuine interest from Old Trafford and White Hart Lane – but insists that he’s not looking to leave Newcastle United any time soon.

As quoted by FourFourTwo, the 5 foot 10 forward said; “There is truth in the talk about interest in me. It’s rewarding for me. There is much truth in the interest from Tottenham and Man United, but my place is at Newcastle.”
