According to reports from London Evening Standard, Chelsea have agreed to loan out unhappy youngster Charly Musonda in January amid interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United.

The Belgium U21 international is regarded as the most exciting product within the Blues’ academy ranks and has been billed as ‘more talented than either Eden Hazard or Kevin De Bruyne were at the same age’.

But the attacking midfielder has grown increasingly concerned that Chelsea can’t offer the first-team football his development requires. His father and former Zambian international Charly Musonda Senior urged the prodigious youngster to leave Stamford Bridge during the summer, telling reporters; “Charly must absolutely leave Chelsea and, since January, Monaco have been trying to sign him.”

The situation hasn’t improved since and earlier this month it was revealed that Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United would all be interested in taking the 19-year-old off Chelsea’s hands. In fact, the Gunners are believed to have seen a £8million bid rejected during the last transfer window.

But according to London Evening Standard, the Blues hope to appease Musonda and quash interest from their Premier League rivals by granting him a loan move in the new year. Although the post was later deleted, the promising Belgian confirmed the move on his Instagram account before pledging his allegiance to Chelsea.

Musonda said; “Enjoyed playing youth football at Chelsea by winning titles and creating some unforgettable memories in the process. It’s now time to take the next step to continue my progression on loan and develop furthermore towards becoming one of the very best one day at Chelsea. With hard work and dedication, I believe I can and I’m very excited.”
