Jerome Sinclair

According to The Liverpool Echo, Liverpool youngster Jerome Sinclair looks ‘increasingly likely’ to leave the club at the end of the season; whilst London Evening Standard report that Chelsea are planning January bids for John Stones, Marquinhos and Alex Teixeira.

Striker Sinclair became the youngest debutant in the club’s history when first appearing against West Bromwich Albion as a 16-year-old back in 2012 and is rated as one of the Anfield outfit’s most promising youngsters.

But talks over a new contract have stalled, with his current terms set to expire at the end of the season, and to make matters worse, the 19-year-old has just switched agents to Aidy Ward – the outspoken representative who facilitated Raheem Sterling’s move to Manchester City during the summer. If the teenager were to join another English club, Liverpool would receive a compensation payment decided by a tribunal.

Meanwhile, London Evening Standard report that Chelsea are planning bids for three players in January – John Stones, Marquinhos and Alex Teixeira – whilst also linking the west Londoners with a £30million swoop for Leicester City’s record-breaking frontman Jamie Vardy.

None are strangers to the Chelsea rumour columns. The Blues infamously saw a succession of bids for Stones rejected by Everton last summer and are widely expected to revive their interest, PSG’s Marquinhos is a well-documented long-term target and Shakhtar Donestk attacker Teixeira has claimed on numerous occasions that the Premier League champions are trying to sign him.
