According to reports from the News Shopper, Charlton Athletic have issued a hands-off warning to Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur regarding their highly-rated youngster Ademola Lookman.
The 18-year-old received his first-team debut last month and has registered just three Championship starts for the South East London outfit, but is already attracting interest from the Premier League’s top clubs.
Indeed, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur were all linked with the teenage forward earlier this week, after he grabbed a first senior goal in a 3-2 defeat to Brighton last Saturday.
But Lookman first drew attention with impressive performances for Charlton’s academy teams, notching up 16 goals for the U18s and U21s this season before earning an inaugural first team outing during a 1-0 defeat to MK Dons in November.

It’s believed all five clubs will look to make good on their interest when the transfer window reopens next month, but Charlton’s interim head coach Karel Fraeye has insisted Lookman will be going nowhere in January.
As quoted by the News Shopper, he said; “Ademola is on a two-and-a-half year deal already. We are doing what we have to do. I think we are very close to where we want to be.
“Ademola has just started first-team football. He’s started very well but he’s got so many steps to take. I’m sure he won’t be sold in January and will be here in the long-term.He’s a smart boy and I think Charlton is a good club for him. If he is looking for a club to develop at, he’s at the best club for him and he knows that.”
