According to reports from talkSPORT, Napoli are looking to muscle in on Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The 6 foot 2 defensive midfielder is one of French football’s most exciting prospects, having claimed 47 youth caps for France and made nearly 100 appearances for PSG at just 20 years of age.
But mother and agent Veronique Rabiot reportedly made a transfer request on her son’s behalf last summer due to a lack of game-time and the issue has cropped up again in recent weeks.

Amid rumours that Premier League duo Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both keen to take the 19-year-old off PSG’s hands, reports earlier this month revealed that Rabiot has requested to be sent out on loan during the January transfer window to improve his chances of making it into France’s Euro 2016 squad.
The north London rivals are seen as the front-runners for his services, but talkSPORT claim they could soon find any attempt to sign the midfielder hijacked by Napoli.
Citing Sky Italia, they allege that the Serie A outfit have already contacted PSG regarding Rabiot’s availability – although it is unconfirmed whether they intend to sign him on loan or permanently.
