According to reports from The Sun, Manchester United are eyeing a shock move for Bournemouth midfielder Matt Ritchie; whilst Calcio Mercato claim Chelsea star Oscar is back on Massimo Allegri’s radar at Juventus.

26-year-old Ritchie was the driving force behind Bournemouth’s promotion bid last season, claiming 15 goals and 17 assists in 46 Championship appearances, and despite the Cherries slumping into the relegation zone following a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Saturday, the winger has continued to impress since moving up to the top flight.

His stunning strike against Sunderland was amongst the Premier League’s Goal of the Month contenders for September, whilst the former Portsmouth man has netted twice for Scotland since June – hitting the net against Qatar and Poland.

The Sun claim Louis van Gaal has instructed his scouts to keep a close eye on Ritchie amid Manchester United’s search for a new winger, viewing him as a cheaper option than mooted targets Sadio Mane and Riyad Mahrez.

Meanwhile, Juventus appear to have reignited their interest in Chelsea playmaker Oscar, after being linked with the Brazil international towards the end of last season.

Calcio Mercato claim the Serie A champions are desperate to strengthen in January following their poor start to the season – currently lying in seventh place after losing four of their first twelve games – and will discuss Oscar’s availability with the Blues during planned talks over Juan Cuadrado’s permanent move to Juventus Stadium.

The 24-year-old appears to be out of favour at Stamford Bridge, making only five Premier League starts this term.
