Oscar

According to reports from The Metro this morning, Chelsea will offload playmaker Oscar this summer to fund a move for West Ham forward Enner Valencia – with Liverpool and Juventus keen to take him off the Blues’ hands.

The Brazil international is a real talent and one of the few No.10s in world football who encompasses Jose Mourinho’s pragmatic philosophy, but uncertainty over his future has grown in recent weeks after another mid-season dip in form, followed by a lengthy spell on the bench.

Juventus are known admirers of the 23 year-old. As This Is Futbol informed you last Friday, they’re eyeing him and Juan Mata as potential replacements for star midfielder Paul Pogba – who could join Chelsea or Manchester United in return.

But The Metro claim Liverpool are also interested in Blues midfielder, who has been compared to Roberto Baggio by Brazil boss Carlos Dunga, in claims backed up by prior reports from The Daily Mail.

But The Daily Mail also report that Chelsea will expect a substantial mark-up on their £19.35m investment should they sell Oscar this summer.
