Thorgan Hazard

According to reports from Belgian outlet Voetbal Nieuws, Tottenham Hotspur are considering a bid for former Chelsea youngster Thorgan Hazard.

The brother of PFA Player of the Year Eden Hazard failed to match his sibling’s award-winning impact at Stamford Bridge, instead finding himself loaned out to Zulte Waregem and Borussia Monchengladbach before ultimately joining the latter club for a £5.9million fee in February this year.

The 22 year-old boasts one goal and eight assists in 31 Bundesliga outings for Die Fohlen, alongside a sensational return of 17 goals and 20 assists in 53 appearances from his final campaign with Zulte.

And according to Voetbal Nieuws, whose report has been summarised in English by The Metro, that form has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur – who could look to bring the Belgium international back to the English top flight in the January transfer window.

The Metro also claim Premier League champions Chelsea have a buy-back option on the young winger.
