According to reports from The Express this morning, Bayern Munich have placed a £6.4million valuation on Brazil centre-back Dante.
The Bavarians signed the 6 foot 2 defender from Borussia Monchengladbach in summer 2012 and he’s since helped them claim three consecutive Bundesliga titles as well as the 2013 Champions League title, registering 131 appearances across all competitions.
But Dante managed his fewest appearances to date for the German champions last season, 39, and now 31 years of age the Allianz Arena outfit are reportedly looking to sell.

Manchester United have been linked with the Selecao star since January 2014 and German publication Kicker claimed in May this year that they’d launched a ‘concrete offer’ for his services.
The Red Devils have explored other options since; particularly Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels and Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos.
But after missing out on both the Old Trafford outfit could decide to revive their interest, amid The Express’s claims – sourced from German publication Bild – that Bayern are looking to sell for just £6.4million.
However, they now face competition for his signature from Everton. The Toffees have started the season with just two recognised centre-backs in their squad and could lose another in John Stones before the end of the transfer window – with the England international a priority target for Chelsea.
Everton is planning Dante as replacement of Stones. MU should first try to grab Stones after Chelsea submits their fourth bid by outbidding with swap deal of Evans. Don’t haggle over the price like Pedro and Otamendi. The late swoop to thrash Jose and Russian will be enjoyed by fans. Chelsea’s nasty tricks should be repaid in full. Try to grab their pride Terry also.
