According to reports from Marca this morning, Manchester United target Pedro is in London today to undergo a medical with Premier League champions Chelsea.
Red Devils chief executive Ed Woodward arrived in Spain earlier this week to try and thrash out a deal for the Barcelona winger, who is seeking a move away after slumping behind Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar in the pecking order last season.
Some sources claim they’ve already agreed personal terms with the 27 year-old but United are reluctant to pay his £22million release clause in full – or at the very least, as one lump sum.

That hesitation, in combination with the poor start to their Premier League title defence, has seen Chelsea re-emerge as rival suitors over the last few days – having been linked with a move for the Spain international earlier this summer.
And according to Marca, as well as fellow Spanish publications Mundo Deportivo and Sport, Pedro is now in London to have a medical with Chelsea after a €28million-plus-€2million-in-add-ons bid was accepted by Barcelona last night.
With the situation developing at such a dramatic pace, Marca believe an official announcement confirming the deal could be made ‘imminently’.
