According to reports from The Express this morning, Bayern Munich have confirmed they’ve reached an agreement to sign Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The Chile international has emerged as one of the most desired centre-mids in world football since joining Juventus from Bayer Leverkusen in summer 2011. In that time, he’s helped the Old Lady claim four consecutive Serie A titles and reach the 2015 Champions League final.

The 28 year-old came close to joining Manchester United last summer and has recently been linked with a move to Arsenal, but reports earlier this month revealed he’s become a priority target for Bayern Munich – who view him as an ideal replacement for now-Red Devils star Bastian Schweinsteiger.
And according to The Express, chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has now confirmed the German champions have a deal in place to sign Vidal – believed to be worth £28million.
He told reporters; “I can confirm that we have reached an agreement in principle between both parties and the player.
“It lacks only the medical examination and the signing of the contract. Should everything run smoothly, Arturo will start training with the club next week,” he added.
