Pedro - £7million

According to reports from The Express this morning, Barcelona star Luis Suarez has urged team-mate Pedro to reject advances from the Premier League and stay on at the Nou Camp.

The 27 year-old claimed every accolade going during his spells with the Catalans and the Spanish national team, winning five La Liga titles, three Champions League titles, the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship.

Despite penning extended terms until 2019 in June, the 51-cap international is in line to leave the Nou Camp this summer after slumping behind Lionel Messi, Neymar and Suarez in the pecking order last season.

That new contract included a £22million release clause and Pedro has since admitted to receiving offers to leave the European champions, with Premier League foursome Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all linked to his signature.

But former Liverpool star Suarez – who almost fired the Reds to a Premier League title before joining the Catalans for a whopping £75million in summer 2014 – has urged the 5 foot 6 attacker to stay on at Barcelona.

As quoted by The Express, he’s told Spanish publication Marca; “Pedro’s thing is an individual decision. He’s had many years at the club, he has won many titles and his decision will be respected.

“But as a team-mate, obviously, I want Pedro to stay because of the importance that he has on a group level,” he added.
