According to reports from The Daily Mail this afternoon, Stoke City will demand Chelsea winger Victor Moses in exchange for sought-after No.1 Asmir Begovic.

The Bosnian international has demonstrated a remarkable consistency during his five campaigns as the Potters’ No.1, in that time winning the club’s Young Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Player of the Year awards.

With just a year remaining on his Britannia contract, Stoke chief executive Tony Scholes admitted earlier this month that the 27 year-old is probably already holding talks with interested parties amid links to Chelsea and Manchester United, who are sourcing potential replacements for Petr Cech and David De Gea respectively.

And according to The Daily Mail, Stoke City boss Mark Hughes wants Nigerian international Victor Moses in exchange for the club’s contractually rebellious goalkeeper – who the British tabloid value at £10million.

The 24 year-old impressed on loan at the Britannia last season, bagging three goals and three assists in 19 appearances whilst averaging 1.7 created chances and 3.3 successful dribbles per match.

The Guardian, however, claim Moses is reluctant to make his loan move permanent.
