According to reports from BBC Sport this afternoon, in-demand Marseille winger Andre Ayew has held talks with Swansea City regarding a potential summer move.
The Ghana international has emerged as one of Ligue 1’s most potent widemen since his debut for L’OM in 2006, going on to net 60 goals in 202 appearances across all competitions. He also claimed the Goal King (top scorer) award at the 2015 African Cup of Nations.

With his contract at Stade Velodrome set to expire at the end of the season, the 25 year-old has attracted interest from a plethora of Premier League clubs over the last few months. As This Is Futbol revealed in April, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been linked with the 5 foot 9 forward.
But it appears Swansea City, who reportedly made an initial contract offer for Ayew some time ago, are now leading the race for his signature. They held talks this afternoon and plan to continue them tomorrow, when the 2011 BBC African Footballer of the Year could also take a medical.
