According to reports from Goal.com yesterday afternoon, former Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye is open to returning to the Premier League this summer after a disappointing campaign at PSG.
The France international bagged 17 goals and 15 assists in 79 appearances during his two-and-a-half seasons with the Magpies, paving the way for a £20million move to Parc de Princes in January 2014.
He was initially seen as an impressive addition to the Ligue 1 Champions’ midfield but the 29 year-old has gone on to make just 35 league outings over the last 18 months, only 22 of which have been starts.
“There is a situation now where I have not had the playing time that I hoped for,” he told Infosport+.
“My representatives are working to find the best solution. In the future, what’s important is to play every weekend.”

With Euro 2016 now just around the corner, the industrious playmaker is keen to ensure as much game-time as possible to keep his place in Didier Deschamps’ France squad – which could mean a move back to the English top flight.
Asked about a potential return to the Premier League, Cabaye replied: “[It is a] league I like, the country too.
“There may be an opportunity, as there may be others. The important thing is that I will think carefully and make the best decision.”
As This Is Futbol revealed in May, Arsenal are known long-term admirers of the former Lille star, whilst Liverpool have mooted Cabaye as a potential successor to MLS-bound skipper Steven Gerrard.
The Daily Mail, however, claim he could be set for a reunion with former Toon gaffer Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace.
