According to reports from the Sky Sports Transfer Centre, the agent of Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic has dismissed notions of a summer exit from Vincente Calderon.

The Croatian international joined the Mattress Makers only last summer after winning two Bundesliga titles and the 2013 Champions League title with Bayern Munich, and boasts a healthy return of 20 goals in 42 appearances from his debut campaign.

But all of those strikes came before the end of February, and Manzukic’s barren run since has coincided with reports of a bust-up with the Atletico Madrid coaching staff, according to The Daily Mail

As This Is Futbol revealed in May, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all believed to be targeting the 29 year-old, whilst reports last week claimed Atletico had gone one step further and offered Mandzukic to his rumoured Premier League suitors.

But the 6 foot 2 striker’s agent has insisted a summer move is incredibly unlikely. Speaking to Croatian media outlet Tportal, agent Ivan Cvjetkovic said: “Mario has only completed the first of his four years at the club so I see no reason why some speak of a possible exit.”
