According to reports from The Express yesterday evening, in-demand midfielder Paul Pogba could decide to stay at Juventus this summer despite widespread interest in his services from Europe’s top clubs.
The former Manchester United youngster has emerged as one of the top centre-mids in world football since swapping Old Trafford for the Old Lady in summer 2012, playing an integral role in a Juve side that have claimed three consecutive Serie A titles and now face Barcelona in Saturday’s Champions League final.
Despite his apparent valuation of £70million, A host of clubs are reportedly baying for the 22 year-old’s signature ahead of the summer transfer window, including Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City, PSG, Real Madrid and the Red Devils – as This Is Futbol revealed last month.
But the France international has sought to pour cold water on rumours suggesting he’ll leave the Turin outfit this summer.
Speaking to French publication L’Equipe, Pogba said; “People can believe what they want. For me that is a final, a really great game and I’m concentrating on it.
“I have never said this would have been my last match with Juventus. I have no regrets. I’m happy here, and I have always wanted to play matches like these,” he added.
I honestly have no clue where Pogba will end up, although a midfield of Kroos-Pogba-Isco could dominate for years to come.
