Following an unceremonious end to an unspectacular campaign, Liverpool are expected to keep themselves very, very busy on the transfer front in the coming summer window.
A number of their signings from the start of the season, coming to a combined cost of £117million, simply haven’t paid off, whilst Brendan Rodgers will need to find a long-term replacement for MLS-bound skipper Steven Gerrard.
Resultantly, the Reds have been linked with a number of top talents ahead of the summer window – so many, in fact, we at This Is Futbol have created a select XI composed entirely of alleged Liverpool targets.
We’re certainly not suggesting the Anfield outfit will sign all of them – according to tabloid valuations, that would cost them a whopping £180million.
