According to reports from Football Italia this morning, Palermo prodigy Paulo Dybala has arrived in Turin for his medical with Juventus.
It follows reports from The Daily Mail yesterday evening claiming the 21 year-old would be at the Old Lady’s training ground today to conclude his £28million transfer.
The young Argentine has just come to the end of a stellar campaign with Rosanero, grabbing 13 goals and ten assists in 34 Serie A appearances to help Palermo claim an eleventh-place finish in the Italian top flight.
That’s lead to comparisons with Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez to name a few, whilst also generating interest from some of the Premier League’s top clubs. As This Is Futbol revealed last month, Arsenal and Manchester United were both believed to be courting the striker’s signature.
But Juve’s negotiations with Dybala have been well-documented for some time, as This Is Futbol revealed in April, and he now appears to be one examination away from signing on the dotted line.
“Juventus are the side who wanted me the most,” the South American recently told Sky Sport Italia. “They made a real effort to sign me and this is why I made my decision. I can certainly win the Scudetto there as they are a winning team. I always play to win and can find success with them.
