Tonight’s Bank Holiday action in the Premier League sees Hull City play hosts to Arsenal at the KC Stadium.
Both clubs have completely different motivations for taking all three points from this evening’s affair; Arsenal are keen to make their two games in hand on Manchester City count by leap-frogging them into second place this evening – although that would require a four-goal winning margin – whilst the Tigers are fighting for their lives at the foot of the Premier League table, currently just one point above the relegation zone.
The Gunners have certainly enjoyed the better run of results against Steve Bruce’s side in recent times. They’ve won five of their last six encounters with Hull City – including the 2014 FA Cup final – with the other result being a 2-2 draw last October.
But when backs are against the wall, anything can happen in the Premier League. So who’ll claim the points this evening? Perhaps the starting Xis, officially confirmed on Twitter moments ago, can shed some light on the issue:
