According to reports from Mirror Football this morning, Manchester United are hoping to snap up Liverpool target and Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan this summer in a £26million deal.
The Belgium international has been in fantastic form this season, netting four times in 29 Serie A appearances whilst averaging 2.7 tackles, 1.2 successful dribbles and one created chance per match.
And the 26 year-old has already admitted his future remains uncertain, recently informing reporters there’s only a ‘50% chance’ of him staying on at the Stadio Olympico next season – as This Is Futbol revealed earlier this month.
Liverpool and Manchester United are both known admirers of the tenacious midfielder, viewing him as potential successors to Steven Gerrard and Michael Carrick respectively.
But according to Mirror Football, the Red Devils are hoping they can blow the Merseysiders out of the water with a £26million bid. Currently co-owned by Roma and Cagliari, however, it could prove to be a rather complicated deal.
