According to reports from The Daily Star this morning, Arsenal and Liverpool are considering a stunning swap deal for England wingers Theo Walcott and Raheem Sterling.

Both home-grown wide-men find themselves in rather similar situations; the former set to enter the final year of his contract and uncertain if the Gunners will renew, the latter yet to extend his Liverpool deal past 2017 despite being offered a contract allegedly worth over £100k per-week.

This Is Futbol informed you of Arsenal’s rumoured interest in Sterling, alongside Chelsea and Manchester United, earlier this month, whilst The Independent had previously named Walcott as a Liverpool target – lined up to replace the contractually rebellious 20 year-old.

And now, The Daily Star claims there could be a swap deal on the cards, with the Reds forward keen on a move to back to the capital and the Arsenal star wanting more first team football.

With Sterling valued at a whopping £50million however, as claimed by The Telegraph, Arsenal will have to part with Walcott plus another £20million.
