Manchester United fans must be tired of hearing about Arturo Vidal by now. A deal for the 27-year-old Juventus ace has been on-and-off so many times, that it’s been difficult to keep track. It’s been a twisty-turn path, but Vidal continues to blow hot and cold. Can’t this deal just happen already?
What are The Red Devils waiting for?
Whilst Louis Van Gaal is right to exercise patience and ensure that he’s bringing in the right players, there’s something to be said of giving new recruits a full pre-season. With a player like Vidal out there, why would United hold back?
This brings me to the most recent development in the Arturo Vidal-Manchester United story. According to The Mirror, The Red Devils are set to offer Juventus as much as £48m in return for the superstar midfielder. They’re also willing to double the player’s wages. If that doesn’t persuade him to move to Old Trafford, I’m not sure what will.
That big a fee must also provide Juventus with a considerable amount of temptation. Whilst Vidal is an excellent option, who delivers the goods on a weekly basis, we are talking about a lot of money here. Next summer, Vidal will be 28-years-old and his price-tag will start to decrease. If Manchester United are willing to break their transfer record, maybe the time’s right to cash-in.
Vidal certainly has a lot to offer this Manchester United side. Nicknamed ‘The Warrior’, he’s capable of contributing from both an attacking and a defensive point of view. He’s strong in the tackle, covers a lot of ground during games and he’s a dab hand in the final third. He was particularly effective last season and seems to have just about hit his peak as a professional footballer.
With him playing alongside footballers like Juan Mata and Ander Herrera, The Red Devils should carry plenty of threat next season. Let’s just hope that Louis Van Gaal can make this deal happen.
What’s your take? Should Manchester United spend big on Arturo Vidal?

pay that 48million pounds and get him.he is so deadly to defence
I’m very tired for transfer of vidal rumour
vidal is the right man for man united,LVG should not waste our time on flecher and useless cleverly, because to qualify for champions leaque we have to be able to compite with player such as:yaya toure fabregas, matic, william, barkley, silva, wilshere, carzola, fernandinho just name it.This midfield godess
WHAT IS LVG WAITING FOR. ITS GETTING A BIT LIKE D. MOYES AGAIN. PERHAPS WE DONT HAVE THE MONEY
Van gaal suppose to be sacked united has problem in the defence and mildfield respectively but van gaal stay silent in d transfer market always rumours close on vidal, hummels, di maria, cuadrado, blind, vaemelen, reus we ar tired of hearing gossip all day bring us right players vidal hummel cuadrado and blind
He is not going to United. Juventus are going preseason tour on other side of world tomorrow. They need to agree his transfer today. If not, he will go with them, and that will be the end of it.
Plis Luise give us Vidal, Blind, Hummels, and Vermalen
Sick and tired of this drama.
vidal hummels are needed
I am really disappointed to note that in spite of having unrestricted budget,MU could not finalise the deals of Vidal, Hummels, Blind,Vermalen and host of other targets. We have heard so many names in the market. Now I’m confused with LVG’s comments that he would not require the new signings.
When MU has got the budget, they must spend to get world class players to restructure the team.
Van Gaal bring for us Vidal,Hummels,Blind and Cuadrado
Van Gaal, no more signings? Well welcome to 30% drop in kit sponsorship from Addidas, mid table finish. Those wasters from last season, nano, young, cleverly the list is long suddenly realise they are good footballers I don’t think so preseason looks good wait for the Stokes and the Newcastle’s not to mention the top 4, ( not united). Woodward should get down to it and bring in Vidal and hummels as he said money no object I don’t think so, as the Glaziers start the big sell off.
Bullshit, Van gaal forget about top four u r talking for bottom of d table
