Just what is David Moyes thinking?

|

David MoyesIt has become a weekly routine now to see Manchester United either lose or draw against teams from the bottom half of the table. Stoke City last week and Fulham this week. It is fair to say the giant of English football is slowly falling from its perch. What has gone so wrong with the same team that swept aside everyone in its way to win the title last year?

There are questions that would come into the minds of neutral football lovers, let alone the United fans every time United play. And some questions are actually valid. Here are a few of them.

Why is Ashley Young still in the team, whilst the likes of Shinji Kagawa and Antonio Valencia are struggling for game time? Not many fans or football pundits have been convinced that he is of United quality since the day he was purchased from Aston Villa. Somehow Moyes is convinced otherwise.

He’s a player who often cuts in from the right side and often struggles to beat a decent full back let alone a world class one. It is baffling to witness how many chances Moyes has given him to prove himself, whereas Kagawa struggles to even take a seat on the bench.

Why are Manchester United whipping in crosses and not attacking more through the center of the field? It is really hard to understand these tactics considering the quality of attacking players Moyes has at his disposal. More than 80 crosses were whipped in against Fulham with the majority not even picking out a man in that famous red jersey.

We understand that the 4-4-2 setup means that there will be a lot of play from the wide areas. That is something that was a strong point of the Fergusson era but his teams also played scintillating football through the middle of the park.

Finally, why is Moyes punching the air after taking the lead against the bottom most team of the league? And sadly, he could not even hold onto the lead to justify it. Given his reaction the Manchester United manager needs to understand that he is required to turn things around in a big way. The ideal situation for him would be when his team ease past smaller teams and kill some big boys of the league. Punching the air then would be justified.

What do you think is David Moyes thinking?

I highlighted this when news of his appointment came out, Moyes is not in the caliber of manager required for a club like man utd but as usual was slated by other fans as they blindly follow Fergie’s instructions, now these same fans start to realize that Fergie asked them to swallow a load of shite.

Just can’t believe a club of man utd’s magnitude and being listed on Dow Jones would have been subjected to proper risk mitigation processes along with proper personnel replacement (I.e Manager) SOP’s clearly broke all the policies with Moyes’s appointment, just his credentials alone would have disqualified this clown, but one word from Fergie backed by Bobby the board followed their instructions and hired Moyes. I’m sure there are several internal club policies and procedures that were violated to get this clown in……next important question, how can the major shareholders and investors allow such blatant policy and procedural violations to take place……the investors should question the board’s irresponsible behavior costing the share price to drop so dramatically and lose millions of investors money? Answer this Glazers and Ed Deadwood ?

I am sorry to say the man has not got the credentials to be a united manager 15 years in management has not won a trophy for a reason style of football is awful his signings been poor and fergie left him a team who won the title by 11 points last year not the best team in last 10 years in my opinion still easily good enough with two signings of 65 million to finish comfortably in top 4 .after playing forty games this guy doesn’t know what system and what his best team is then im afraid he will never know .the best player we had for last 3 months been januzaj been dropped for last 4 games kagawa not given chance mata being played out of position he should never had bought fellani cos he never fancied him last minute panic buy cos he couldn’t buy his targets and the list goes on.i am afraid to say the leopord never chanes its spots.

Get Moyes out now and the damage could be repaired next season. Appoint a manager like Klopp and new class players would still come, morale could be restored, and tactics that don’t belong in the stone age, could be reintroduced.

Letting the Godfather Ferguson block this move, solely to save his face and protect his ‘legacy’, will see him destroy in 2 years the club it took him 27 years to get to this point.

If Moyes is kept on, then the Glazers deserve to lose every cent they have.
