Surely we can’t blame this Arsenal and QPR target for cutting his ties with his old club?

News reports of Chris Samba wanting to leave Blackburn Rovers and asking for a ‘Divorce’ have appeared recently after a long and lengthy transfer want away by the imposing Centre Back. What we are asking today:

Is Chris Samba the husband with a mistress or is Blackburn the Wife with a lack of giving and the ball and chain well and truly affixed.

Samba joined Blackburn from Hertha BSC signing a three-and-a-half year deal for £450,000 on 25 January 2007. He has since gone on to impose himself in the back line and prompting a lot of interest in him from the big clubs to which it is deserved but he has now become the big fish in a small pond, and is thinking to himself “Has Blackburn held up their end of the bargain?”

From joining in 2007 Blackburn under Mark Hughes went 10th in the 2006-2007 Premier League Season with a place in the Uefa Intertota Cup. In 2007-2008 they finished in an impressive 7th Place but their spearhead manager Mark Hughes was headhunted for the role at the revitalised Man City and left for trophies and was replaced by Paul Ince.

Numerous managers and lost places since then have seen them as a relegation fighter instead of the prize fighter that they were under the S.O.S days of old, and while Chris’s profile has increased, his teams is on the slide and wants no part of it.

From an interview with Sky Sports he vents his frustrations at the club and why he wants to leave:

“I signed a new deal last January, because Venky’s told me they had big plans,” he said. “Names like Ronaldinho were mentioned and they promised there was going to be a lot of investment in the team. It hasn’t happened.

“They don’t understand football in this country and they don’t realise how much I’ve given to Blackburn and that they have broken promises they have made. I stayed, because I believed them, but they weren’t honest with me and now I know I made the wrong decision.

“I share the frustration of the fans who must have believed the owners too.”

He continued: “I’m not a £15m player. Blackburn only signed me for £400,000 from Hertha Berlin and if they get £7m now then that’s very good business.

“I’ve got nothing against the manager. It’s not like he’s been given £100million to spend, he’s trying to do the best he can with what he has. This is between me and the owners. It’s personal.”

Can you really hold this against him? All these hidden promises by the saviours of the club, big teams come a calling and the only thing holding you back is the people who you have the biggest grievance with.

The honeymoon period really is over in this relationship and the beautiful wife has farted in the bed one two many times, won’t let you go out, takes your time away from your friends, whereas  you’ve just kissed a beautiful model who is very interested and all looks a promising new relationship  the only thing holding back the divorce is the mother in law

Do you risk the wrath of the mother in law for the good looking grass on the other side, or stay and fight for a change in the right direction and for your man points back.

Looks and the bright lights or stick around and fight for a change.

What would you do?

The only thing to say about this article is QPR are not a big club and they certainly aren`t successful in the Premier league. When a “successful” club comes calling with the right amount of money BRFC, I`m sure, would say goodbye.

Should have put Arsenal and Tottenham. But QPR can go stuff themselves, we won’t sell to them. If we did, the both Venkys and Kean deserve all the abuse they get. He is not for sale, he has 4 years left on his contract. If we don’t get the money we want, then we don’t need to sell. If he refuses to play, then happy sitting in the reserves Chris.
