Harry: Noble can save Hammers

|

Harry Redknapp believes that the solution to West Ham’s problems lies with Mark Noble.

Rio Ferdinand, Marouane Fellani and Asmir Begovic have all been linked with the Hammers as Slaven Billic’s side slip towards relegation.

Last season’s emotional send off to The Boleyn Ground is now just a distant memory as the club adapt to life in Stratford at the London Stadium.

Noble has been at West Ham as man and boy and knows the ups and downs of the game more than most.

With a relegation dogfight on their hands Redknapp believes that the solution to the club’s troubles is already in place.

Writing in The Standard Redknapp explained: “Slaven Bilic requires the services of his captain now more than ever. West Ham are in a right mess and the input of Mark Noble over the next few weeks will be as important as anything that comes from Slaven.

That’s because it’s what’s going on in the dressing room that will decide the team’s fate.”

West Ham could start Sunday’s match at Liverpool in the bottom three if Sunderland take a point from their trip to bottom of the table Swansea.

After visiting Anfield West Ham host Burnley and Hull with Bilic well aware that anything less than six points from those matches could see him out of a job.
