Heading into the international break, Chelsea sit in seventh place in the Premier League table with a points haul of 13 following seven games played.

Starting so well for new Blues boss Antonio Conte with three victories from three Premier League games, it’s soon become very apparent that Chelsea are a work in progress under his management.

While Diego Costa has looked his old self while being fantastic all season so far, there has been room for improvement in other areas, most notably the defence whereby Conte used to call upon the steady likes of Andrea Barzagli, Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci at Juventus.

Having toyed between a 4-1-4-1 and a 3-5-2 so far this season, Conte is yet to work our his best starting eleven and formation but he will be using the international break to reflect on where it’s gone wrong for the Blues in recent weeks.

At least getting back to winning ways courtesy of a comfortable 0-2 victory over Hull City last weekend, we’re sure this won’t be enough for the passionate Conte who knows he needs a string of consistent results in such expectant surroundings as Stamford Bridge.

Today, This Is Futbol have compiled a list of the FIVE biggest negatives from the Blues’ 2016/17 campaign so far.
