The Oscar-Ramires-Pogba switcheroo

According to reports from The Metro this afternoon, Barcelona’s £50million bid for Juventus star Paul Pogba – initially reported by This Is Futbol earlier this month – has been rejected by the Serie A champions.

The France international looks set to become the biggest deal of the coming transfer window, with the Turin outfit expected to sell and a host of major European clubs allegedly courting his services.

That includes Premier League trio Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United – according to a report from The Daily Star earlier this month, whilst talkSPORT claimed on Tuesday that the Blues and Barcelona are currently leading the race for his signature.

In fact, some sources have dared to alledge the Premier League leaders are willing to part with Brazil duo Oscar and Ramires in exchange for the 22 year-old – as This Is Futbol revealed earlier this month.

Today’s revelations are bittersweet for Pogba’s Premier League suitors. Although they’ll be pleased the former Red Devils youngster won’t be moving to the Nou Camp this summer, Juventus have made it clear they value him at considerably higher than £50million.

The Metro speculate Pogba could set his next club back £70million.
