Many Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to a concerning pre-match stat ahead of their Premier League game against Manchester United on Saturday evening.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side started off the campaign with three successive 1-o victories, results that initially saw them leap to the table of the table.
Subsequently, it went rapidly downhill for the Lilywhites, losing their next three back-to-back, including conceding three goals in each game as well as losing the north London derby against Arsenal. However, Nuno’s side have managed to win their next two two games, a 2-1 win against Aston Villa and 3-2 victory against Newcastle respectively.
However, Nuno’s side lost their most recent outing in the league, a narrow 1-0 defeat to West Ham at the London Stadium last Sunday, marking a fifth successive Premier League London derby defeat.
Ahead of the crucial encounter against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this afternoon, the BBC (via The Spurs Web) revealed that Spurs talisman Harry Kane has scored just one goal in his last eight appearances, a stat which will gravely concern Lilywhites fans.
