Wolves are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona winger Abde Ezzalzouli.
With 33 appearances for the Spanish club across their senior and youth sides, the 21-year-old has scored four goals and delivered seven assists.
Back in September, the youngster joined CA Osasuna on loan until the end of the season, where he has gone on to score one goal and provide two assists in 15 appearances.
According to a recent report from Spanish media outlet Sport (via Sport Witness), Wolves are one of the most interested sides in terms of signing Ezzalzouli, whose performances for Osasuna have caught the eye of the Old Gold.
During his time with Osasuna, the left-winger has shown in 12 La Liga appearances how much of a capable attacking figure he is.
For example, the Moroccan has the fourth-highest rate of shots at goal per 90 minutes (2.31) as well as the second-highest rate of goal-creating actions per 90 minutes (0.58) at the club.
Would you like to see Wolves sign Abde Ezzalzouli?
The youngster found himself involved in Morocco’s recent World Cup tournament in Qatar where he played a total of 92 minutes from three substitute appearances.
Previously, Barcelona manager Xavi, hailed Ezzalzouli as a “tremendous” and “extraordinary” player, which suggests that Wolves may find it difficult to land a permanent deal for the winger at some point in the near future, especially if the Spaniard views the youngster and a potential regular first-team figure for the La Liga giants.
The Old Gold also have a track record when it comes to doing deals with Barcelona, as they have not only secured deals for the likes of Nelson Semedo and Francisco Trincao but they also let Adama Traore join the Spanish club on loan last season.
Moving forward, we feel that if the attacker has a strong end to his loan spell at Osasuna by adding more goals and assists to his tally for the campaign, we feel that Wolves should definitely put themselves in a position to secure a deal for him, whether that be on another loan deal or on a permanent basis.
