Michael Beale has been handed an early injury boost at Rangers as footage has emerged ace Kemar Roofe back in first-team training.
The Rangers striker has had to watch on from the sidelines this season as the Gers struggled in Europe and domestically, with the Ibrox giants crashing out of the Champions League and remaining nine points off the top spot in Scotland.
The appointment of Beale will naturally bring a boost to the squad and supporters, and with Roofe now seen back in training, the boss himself will get a major lift heading into his first game in charge against Hibernian.
Roofe has played just nine minutes of league football this season, but reporter Joshua Barrie has shared footage from an open training session which shows Roofe back with his teammates.

TIF Thoughts on Roofe’s return…
The return of Roofe will be huge for Beale as he will know Rangers have largely struggled in front of goal this season compared to their usual high standards having netted just 34 times, which isn’t great compared to Celtic’s tally of 50, or even Aberdeen’s 29.
Therefore, having a recognised and experienced striker ready to return to first-team action can only be a good thing, and that’s what Roofe has been at Ibrox with a record of 34 goals in 74 appearances.
Beale will need all of the help he can get, which means getting players fit and firing – as well as making January signings – to ensure he can create a side capable of at least being competitive domestically this campaign.
