Insider ExWHUemployee believes that West Ham United would consider a move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka should a loan deal be an option.
During the summer, it was revealed by David Ornstein that the Hammers had an offer for the right-back rebuffed.
At the time, Manchester United weren’t open to letting the Englishman go on a temporary basis nor permanently, as they wanted two options in that department.
However, with just four minutes of football all season, Wan-Bissaka could now be available – and Ex feels the Irons may think about testing United’s resolve.
Speaking on The West Ham Way podcast, he said: “Wan-Bissaka is someone that we’ve definitely had an interest in at Manchester United.
“I think we’d prefer to have a loan deal for him, because obviously, he hasn’t played a huge amount for Manchester United in recent weeks, but a loan deal for him if that was available is something we would probably consider.”
TIF Thoughts on Wan-Bissaka and West Ham…
Would you want Aaron Wan-Bissaka at West Ham United?
Yes
No
Considering Vladimir Coufal is out of contract in the summer and the speculation surrounding his future at the club, David Moyes may need to look at strengthening at right-back this winter.
Ben Johnson is also thought to be stalling over fresh terms, with his current deal expiring at the end of next season.
Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd both have injury problems to contend with which may force Thilo Kehrer to be moved back into the centre, and with the defensive options stretched, we think Wan-Bissaka could be a viable option to arrive on loan having seemingly been frozen out at Old Trafford.
