Journalist, Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport, that West Ham United target, Noa Lang ‘will be available in the coming months’.
Calciomercato has reported that he’s also a target for AC Milan and is wanted by Atletico Madrid.
Lang has just finished up his World Cup campaign with the Netherlands. The 23-year-old would have to wait until the quarter-finals to make his first and only appearance of the tournament, featuring against Argentina.
It would finish 2-2 after 120 minutes played, the European side would then be defeated 4-3 on penalties.
Jones also wrote that Leeds United are another Premier League side that is linked with Lang.
Addressing the futures of a number of the Dutch squad, Jones stated, ‘The other players to look out for in this team that will be available in the coming months are Stefan De Vrij (Tottenham interest), Noa Lang (Leeds and West Ham interest) and Jeremie Frimpong (Man United interest). ‘
TIF’s view on Jones’ comments…
We believe that West Ham should be watching the transfer situation with Lang very carefully, he looks like a top talent.
The man from the Netherlands, who has been called ‘trouble’ by some of his international teammates, tends to operate as a left-winger, but has experience playing on the right and as a second striker.
Lang spent one season on loan with Club Brugge before joining permanently in the summer of 2021. Across three seasons in the Belgian league, the 23-year-old has 45 goal contributions in 67 matches. He had a price tag of £22 million placed on his head earlier on in the current campaign, so it remains to be seen as to whether his stock has risen ahead of January.
Before his move to Belgium, Lang was at Ajax, featuring in their first-team squad and their youth academy before that. The Dutch side have produced a number of top talents over the years through youth system, so it would be no surprise if the winger turned out to have a bright future ahead of him.
