Sky Sports’ Rob Dorsett has admitted that the managers linked to Wolves are not necessarily saviours.

Wolves are seemingly struggling both on and off the pitch as some of their business appeared to be slightly panicked and bizarre with the departure of Conor Coady and signing of Diego Costa and that’s transpired onto the pitch with just two wins all season.

The Midlands side are also seemingly struggling to land a new manager having been rejected by Julien Lopetegui and their pursuit of Michael Beale has now come to an end after his comments last night claiming it would be difficult to leave QPR have come true.

Dorsett has claimed on the Essential Football podcast that none of the managers linked aren’t inspiring or likely to be seen as the saviour they need.

Do you want Michael Beale as manager?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

(8:35) “I don’t see any strandle theme in the managers they’re looking at, that tells me where they want to go, what they want to be next and I can’t help feeling it feels a little bit scattergun and it feels a little bit like that they’re striving to find a saviour and the list of managers they’ve got that have been linked with the job I’m not sure they’re quite it right now.

“So worrying times for wolves fans, I think you have to say.”

Which former Man United man almost joined Wolves?

The crushing news that Beale won’t be taking over at Molineux has certainly hit hard today, with Fosun now having to look elsewhere. Indeed, with Beale turning them down, it will raise a lot of questions about where Wolves turn to next, and whether was it right to part way with Lage if they didn’t have a guaranteed replacement lined up.
