Medical expert Ben Dinnery has claimed that Tottenham ace Dejan Kulusevski could face up to another two weeks on the sidelines.

Heading into the north London derby, Kulusevski was a major doubt after picking up a hamstring injury on international duty.

The Swede ultimately missed the defeat at Arsenal as well as the midweek trip to Germany and Dinnery feels we could be unavailable for at least another 10 days.

Tottenham take on Brighton & Hove Albion this evening before their return game against Eintracht Frankfurt, but Kulusevski may also miss next weekend’s Everton clash and potentially the trip to Old Trafford four nights later on October 19th.

When asked about Kulusevski on the Premier FPL Injuries YouTube channel on Friday, Dinnery provided an update on Kulusevski’s status and predicted Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Richarlison would start up top in the 22-year-old’s absence.

He said: “Hamstring injury, probably another 10, maybe 14 days, so that’s not great.

“In terms of those three in attack, that picks itself.”

This certainly presents a problem for Antonio Conte given that Lucas Moura is also sidelined at present.

Bryan Gil was introduced on Tuesday night for Richarlison, with the Spaniard the manager’s only attacking option off the bench – though he clearly did not impress the Spurs boss.

Meanwhile, former Premier League striker Gabriel Agbonlahor claimed on TalkSport that the U21 international ‘didn’t look anywhere near it’ in midweek, which will be a concern for supporters.

The £70m-rated Kulusevski had been in scintillating form for the Lilywhites, scoring six goals and creating a further 11 in 25 Premier League appearances, and fans will be hoping he is available again sooner rather than later.
