The pressure on Jesse Marsch went into overdrive as Leeds United slipped to a fourth straight defeat on Sunday.

Despite taking the lead in the first half through Rodrigo, the Whites left Elland Road empty-handed as they lost 3-2 to Fulham.

It is a result that leaves the club languishing in the mire as they fell into the bottom three.

There were calls for Marsch to be sacked in the morning and one of his decisions during the game appeared to rub the home faithful the wrong way.

As posted on Twitter Graham Smyth said:

63 – Rodrigo off, Bamford on.

Sinisterra off, Summerville on.

A few boos for that second one.

1-1

TIF Thoughts on Sinisterra and Leeds…

Will Jesse Marsch still be at Leeds after the World Cup?

While on the field the winger managed 45 touches according to SofaScore and completed 88% of his passes.

However, he failed to have a telling impact on the game as he didn’t manage to work a shot either on or off-target and completed just one dribble.

He lost possession nine times and won just 50% of his ground duels and considering Crysencio Summerville scored in added time, Marsch’s decision was justified.

LeedsLive reported in the week that the American’s job was secure but given the result, he is now under intense pressure even though his choice to take the summer arrival off after the hour was the right one.
