It was another disappointing display for Steve Davis and his Wolverhampton Wanderers side as they fell to a heavy defeat at Molineux.

In a scrap at the bottom of the table, Wolves were embarrassed in their own backyard as Leicester City ran riot to emerge 4-0 winners.

As a result, the Old Gold drop down to 19th in the table with the Foxes overtaking them.

It was the fifth defeat in six Premier League games for the side who look set for a season-long battle at the foot of the table.

Jonny Castro Otto had a day to forget down the Wolves right with Harvey Barnes particularly prominent for the visitors and getting on the scoresheet.

The Birmingham Mail awarded the full-back a 2/10 rating for his performance and justified it with the following comment:

‘Jonny was incredibly lucky not to be hooked after 20 minutes. He was at fault for both of Leicester’s first two goals with some dreadful defending. He did nothing but create problems for his own team.’

TIF Thoughts on Jonny and Wolves…

Will Wolves be relegated?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

The Spaniard had started all ten of the club’s league fixtures prior to the midweek defeat at Crystal Palace.

He made his return to the initial XI against the east Midlanders but had far from his finest game and was substituted on 67 minutes.

The 28-year-old lost possession nine times and committed one foul (SofaScore) and didn’t cover himself in glory as his attempted clearance went straight to Youri Tielemans who scored a stunning opener.

He was beaten too easily by Barnes as he exchanged passes with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and fired to the net for the second as Jonny watched on from the floor.
